Coach
Charles starts his seventh year as Head Coach. He also assisted George
Baldwin, the previous coach, for a number of years. As a former
Middletown High swimmer, he earned All American honors. Coach Charles
holds the school record in the 200 yard Individual Medley. He went on to
swim for Marist College, again setting several school records and
enjoyed a brilliant career as a scholarship athlete. Coach Charles
recently finished his tenth season as the Head Coach for Girls Swimming
at MHS.

Matt Quinn

Quinn returns for his 17th year as the Middletown Assistant Coach.
Quinn, a former All-State diver for the Blue Dragons, has had a great
deal of success working with the MHS divers. He has been guiding divers
to All-Conference and Conference Champion status, as well as placing
divers highly in state competition. Quinn, a 1992 graduate of MHS, has
demonstrated a keen sense of coaching and working with high school
athletes.
