Digital flyer distribution will be the only method of flyer distribution from the District.

MHS Project Graduation - Get Involved!

MHS Project Graduation is a volunteer group that plans an overnight, substance-free party for our senior class on the night of graduation. We are already at work for the Class of 2025 event June 14-15, with a goal to raise $30,000.

44th Annual Middletown Public Schools Art Exhibition

You are invited to the 44th Annual Middletown Public Schools Art Exhibition! The reception will be held on Saturday, March 8th, 4-7pm. We would love to see you there!

Gallery hours for the Middletown Public Schools Art Exhibition will be as follows:

  • Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm

  • Sunday, March 9, 2025 from Noon to 5pm

  • Monday, March 10 through Friday, March 14, 2025 from 3pm to 6pm

  • Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16, 2025 from Noon to 5pm

View a wide variety of visual art from children in kindergarten through twelfth grade at the 44th annual Middletown Public Schools Art Exhibition. The first Middletown Public Schools Art Exhibition was held in the gallery in 1982.

Black Child Book Week Fair

Black Children’s Book Week (BCBW)

Saturday, March 1, 2025 | 10:00am-3:00pm | Beckham Hall at Wesleyan University

Black Children’s Book Week (BCBW) is “a global celebration of Black children and the people who ensure they are represented in books and other children’s media.”

Wesleyan's Jewett Center for Community Partnerships is hosting a BCBW Book Fair designed to raise awareness about the importance of diversity in children's literature and media. The event will include tabling authors, vendors, and organizations, workshops, author readings, panels, a drumming circle, and giveaways. We invite everyone to join the celebration: families, students, authors, illustrators, publishers, educators, librarians, youth organizations, and more.

While this event is designed with BILPOC families across Connecticut in mind, everyone is welcome to join. We have offerings for participants of all ages. If you need additional information or have any questions, reach out to shadley@wesleyan.edu

Spring 2025 - Middletown Rec Center - Flag Football League

FREE Flag Football League

Ages 7-9 AND 10-14 | Saturdays: April 19 through May 31, 2025

Teams and game schedules will be created by the Recreation Department in a draft format.
All games will be 2/20 minutes running halves
Footballs and Flags are provided.
Molded cleats should be worn. No metal will be allowed.
Games will be played on a rotating basis weekly.
Game schedule will become available at a later date

Bushy Hill Day Camp

Ivoryton, CT | June 16 to August 22, 2025

Bushy Hill Day Camp is a nature- and outdoor exploration-based day camp located on 750 acres in Ivoryton, CT. Campers are immersed in the natural world through hands-on activities, hiking, games, pond study, arts and crafts, and programs designed to encourage their curiosity about local wildlife, plants, trees, habitats, and ecosystems. Campers spend their mornings with their age-based field groups in different activities, and after lunch they have swimming time at our private, mile-long lake. After waterfront time, campers enjoy a snack, skits, songs, and closing activities before they are picked up by their families or board the camp bus/van to be transported to their pick-up/drop-off point.
