This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Scripps National Spelling Bee, and we are thrilled that Lawrence School participated in this historic event.

Our school held its own Scripps Spelling Bee competition for students in grades 2-5 on Friday, January 31st. Congratulations to the winner Joseph Heslin and the runner up Abigail Andrews! The winner of our school competition will advance to the regional bee, which will be held on March 9 at the University of St. Joseph. This is a fantastic chance for our students to showcase their spelling skills and potentially progress to higher levels of competition. Congratulations to all who participated!
