Dress
Graduates must dress appropriately under their graduation gowns. Students should consider wearing a skirt/dress or dress pants and a blouse or collared shirt. Heels are a tripping hazard and can damage the field, therefore, flats or wedges are recommended. Jeans, shorts, and sneakers are discouraged. Students should label their caps and position their tassels on the right side of their caps. Friends and family should dress for comfort.
Other
Graduates may not have any of the following items with them during graduation: purses, wallets, sunglasses, earbuds, or toys (i.e., beach balls, Frisbees®, airhorns, etc.). All personal items will be collected prior to the ceremony. We recommend leaving personal items with family members.
Please refrain from bringing balloons and other large items that could obstruct the view of others. Any balloons brought on campus will need to be secured alongside the stadium fence. Please refrain from using airhorns and other items that could disrupt the ceremony.
We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to celebrating our graduates in an atmosphere full of love and encouragement. Congratulations, Class of 2024. YOU DID IT!
