MHS Advanced Film & Social Media Course Joins UConn Early College Experience!

We are thrilled to announce that Middletown High School’s Advanced Film and Social Media course has officially become a UConn Early College Experience (ECE) course beginning with the 2025-2026 academic year!

This exciting development means that students enrolled in the course will now have the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. The course, DMD 2210: Film and Video Editing I, will follow the rigorous standards set by the University of Connecticut, offering students a college-level curriculum in digital media and film editing.

Congratulations to Ms. Pszczolkowski!

We extend a special congratulations to Ms. Lauren Pszczolkowski, who has been officially certified as a UConn ECE Instructor for this course. As a certified instructor, she is now an affiliate faculty member of UConn, a role similar to that of an adjunct professor. Her expertise and dedication to media education have made this opportunity possible for our students.

What This Means for Students
📽️ Earn UConn college credits while in high school
